Sesame

French Toast

Our hand-rolled French Toast Bagel is now imitated, but was invented by our bagel craftsmen here in Astoria, Queens. The sweet and savoury aroma of cinnamon fills the room upon toasting, and is beautifully complemented with a schmear of creamy butter. 4565, 72 x 115g

An Everything Bagel is at the pinnacle of New York bagel hierarchy... A fresh Everything  New Yorker bagel is the first thing many think of when ordering bagels from New York.
The Everything Bagel is usually served with a schmear of cream cheese or eaten plain. Dried garlic, poppy seeds, sesame seeds, dehydrated onion.

Recommendations


How to prepare


We recommend thawing the bagels for 20-30 minutes before placing in the oven at 200C for four minutes. This will give the outer crust its crispiness while keeping the inside still soft and chewy. However, these bagels also taste good simply toasted with butter.  


Toppings


  • Chicken salad or tuna mayo on a Sesame / Onion or Everything bagel.


  • Smoked salmon, cucumber and cream cheese on a Plain bagel to a  BLT on a Poppyseed  bagel. 

 

  • When it comes to the French Toast bagel, you can’t go wrong with some strawberry jam or marmalade!
